I'm a self described aspiring craftsman who has spent the last eight years working in clay. My path into ceramics began with an early opportunity into the industry as a studio hand, which over the years evolved into my own business Terrapotter Studios — a teaching space where I shared my craft with others and fostered the careers of those in my community.

Running Terrapotter meant learning the realities of small business ownership alongside the discipline of the medium itself — long hours and late nights that, while formative, left less room for my own creative exploration.

The past three years have marked a shift: a deliberate investment in my practice and professional growth. I'm now investing more fully to creative studio work, searching for my "line" — the artistic voice that comes only through sustained time with the material. I continue to grow into my medium and my practice, one piece at a time.

My work as of late focusses on small to medium sized functional pieces, typically inspired by the day to day things that I find peacefully whimsical.
